Here I am in paradise once again.

I wonder how it is possible to fall in love with a place all over again, all you have to do is to come to Tahiti again and again. It simply is the most beautiful place on earth. I have the best job in the whole world!

I arrived Saturday afternoon and transferred by boat from Raiatea to Le Taha'a. I was met on arrival by a hotel representative, Katrrina, who kindly showed me around then left me to my own devices for the rest of the afternoon and evening. After checking into my spacious OVB, one of the better ones at the end of the pontoon, and completely private. I went for a quick snorkel, then had a snooze on the deck lounge chair. I went to the pool, swam up to the bar and ordered a Tahitian beer. The bartender Tupu , a large jolly fellow, knew my first and last name, amazing! He said the beer was on him. Dinner was comped and I dined alone in a treehouse setting. I looked at the wine list and decided against a glass of vino for 5500 xpf CAD$55.00 mon dieu!

The sun sets at about 6pm, funny to be such lovely warm weather in the pitch dark.

I got up early to see the sunrise, as my bungalow faces due east. I made myself a nespresso and sat on the deck. There's not much fish here as all sandy, but there is a coral garden further down the beach which I will check out this afternoon.

I am having a hosted lunch with the hotel rep here today. After breakfast I walked the entire resort, and took a bunch of photos. Back now in my lovely bungalow. There's a big king size bed, and a glass topped table, you can lift the lid and feed the fish from your room. There's also a glass panel next to the bathtub, so you can see the lagoon from the tub.

The service and food is excellent here, no where near as slow as in other places in Tahiti.

Love, Annie xoxo
