Rwanda is a landlocked East African country whose mountainous landscape has earned the nickname ‘Land of a Thousand Hills’. It is renowned for the Volcanoes National Park, which is home to the mountain gorillas and golden monkeys.
The country faced devastation in 1994, peace was restored and the genocide is history. Over the years Rwanda transformed itself into a country whose people refer to themselves as one tribe – Rwandese, and are extremely forward-thinking and positive.

LAKE NAIVASHA

Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake, outside the town of Naivasha in Nakuru County, which lies north west of Nairobi. It is the highest of the Rift Valley Lakes, the setting is magical, it is part of the Great Rift Valley. The lake is home to a variety of wildlife including over 400 different species of birds and a large population of hippos.

 

LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

Lake Nakuru is one of the Rift Valley soda lakes at an elevation of 1754m above sea level. It is protected by Lake Nakuru National Park, which was created to protect the Lake. The lake’s abundance of algae attracts the vast quantity of Flamingos the famously line the shore. The Park is home to hippos, black and white rhino, Rothschild giraffe, buffalo and eland.

 

 

 

 

 

MAASAI MARA RESERVE

The Maasai Mara National Reserve is a game reserve in Narok County, Kenya contiguous with the Serengeti National Park in the Mara Region. It is named in honor of the MAASAI PEOPLE.
The annual wildebeest migration through the Serengeti and the Maasai Mara is the largest mass movement of l and mammals on the planet, which takes place from July to October.
It is also famous for large population of lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, gazelles and eland to mention a few. Hot air ballooning and horseback safari is also available in the Mara.
